Annual Hope For a Winning Browns Season

If you know me, then you know I'm a huge Cleveland Browns fan. Always have been, always will be. It seems since their return in 1999, they have been perennial losers with a rotating door at each position. This year marks the first full year since their return with an owner who's last name isn't Lerner. Let's hope Big Jim turns things around!!! Go Browns!

Studying a Studier?

I haven't been able to post as much as I would have liked over the last few months, but moving and projects have just piled up! So, hopefully I'm back in the swing of actually sharing my daily and weekly doodles. I drew this one in an anatomy class of a student drawing the model and colored it at home last night... sometimes the people drawing a model are more interesting than the pose on the stand. Never be afraid to ignore the obvious. (Who am I? Yoda?)

Thanksgiving Rooftop

This is a quick sketch I did of my dear friends Maddy and Nathan's rooftop, which is where I've spent the last three Thanksgivings with my wife and friends. I did this sketch of my new wife one night at starbucks (which I think tastes like b-u-t-t) right before we got our cat. I didn't intend to do much with it, but you know what happens when you open up Photoshop. So, one hour later, I have a cute caricature of the woman who I love, and who also drives me crazy. I tell her she's driving me 'trazy'. Enjoy! 

Are You Ready For Some Football?

So, it's getting closer and closer to football season, and I had some time to scratch my football itch by doing this illustration of my Dad's favorite football player, Jim Brown. I remember my Dad having an illustrated Jim Brown cup on his desk at home that he put his pens in when I was a kid. It was one of those items that I'll never forget and that will always remind me of my Dad.

Water Color Study

This is a water color I did for fun the other day. As you might have noticed, this is the elephant from one of my sketches found below. I might try to do the rest of the gang, but no promises. I don't have a name for this guy yet, but I will gladly take any suggestions!

I'm not quite sure how this idea came about, but it's interesting to say the least. It might be one of those images that flashes in my mind to get my ass out of bed in the morning. Or, maybe I've watched way too much American Gladiators.
