Annual Hope For a Winning Browns Season

If you know me, then you know I'm a huge Cleveland Browns fan. Always have been, always will be. It seems since their return in 1999, they have been perennial losers with a rotating door at each position. This year marks the first full year since their return with an owner who's last name isn't Lerner. Let's hope Big Jim turns things around!!! Go Browns!

I finally got around to painting the two illustrations that you might have seen before. I few changes and all in acrylic. Enjoy these foxes!

Beanie Bear Who Likes to Swear

Beanie Bear who likes to swear, called me at five in the morning. He said he was drunk and that I was a punk, and will not excuse me from snoring.

Susie Q, I love You

Here's a character I did who is a hip little cyclops named Susie.
Enjoy, but don't stair too much into the big eye!!!

Here's the color finish. I like it a lot better than the other two I did!!!

One More Time.

So, this is the third time I've done this alligator, and I think I'm finally happy with it. I'm going to be painting it tonight, so check my website in a few days for the finish. Enjoy!

Aww Nuts!

Wow! It's been awhile. I did this yesterday; it fits my mood very well. Enjoy!

I've been on a 'cardinal kick' lately, and I decided to have a little more fun with the bird. Cardinals are very pretty and remind me of home... home sweet home. Enjoy!

Studying a Studier?

I haven't been able to post as much as I would have liked over the last few months, but moving and projects have just piled up! So, hopefully I'm back in the swing of actually sharing my daily and weekly doodles. I drew this one in an anatomy class of a student drawing the model and colored it at home last night... sometimes the people drawing a model are more interesting than the pose on the stand. Never be afraid to ignore the obvious. (Who am I? Yoda?)

Father Elephant

I decided to ink over this watercolor study I did, and I think it came out pretty well!

By The Beard of Ryan!

I believe this beard is the source of Ryan's "true power".

PS-I kind of made him look blonde??? What a nightmare.

Yuko and Friend

So, on the left is a guy I drew jamming out on the train, and on the right I drew a friend from class hard at work, fighting to stay awake after eating a burrito. Go Yuko, yay!!!

That's Chairie!

You know I'm board when I draw something like this. But, what a beautiful chair it is!!!

Linda Asleep In Class

It's that time of year when you can find at least one person sleeping hard in each classroom... aka modeling for free!

This is my version of Alice in Wonderland. Enjoy!

Thanksgiving Rooftop

This is a quick sketch I did of my dear friends Maddy and Nathan's rooftop, which is where I've spent the last three Thanksgivings with my wife and friends. We have spent a lot of time playing up here the last three years and I thought I'd do a little interpretive doodle. It's a great place with a great view of the city. Enjoy and Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Bag & Water

These are some daily sketches that I've been doing with a splash of color.

Chef Ronald at Work

This is a fun editorial work I did about the McDonald's head chef and the issues he faces creating new and different ideas for the menu.
My professor said it reminds him of 'heffalumps and woozles' from Winnie the Poo.
I guess that's a good thing???

It's Tracey!

I did this sketch of my new wife one night at starbucks (which I think tastes like b-u-t-t) right before we got our cat. I didn't intend to do much with it, but you know what happens when you open up Photoshop. So, one hour later, I have a cute caricature of the woman who I love, and who also drives me crazy. I tell her she's driving me 'trazy'. Enjoy!

Are You Ready For Some Football?

So, it's getting closer and closer to football season, and I had some time to scratch my football itch by doing this illustration of my Dad's favorite football player, Jim Brown. I remember my Dad having an illustrated Jim Brown cup on his desk at home that he put his pens in when I was a kid. It was one of those items that I'll never forget and that will always remind me of my Dad.
Go Browns!

Water Color Study

This is a water color I did for fun the other day. As you might have noticed, this is the elephant from one of my sketches found below. I might try to do the rest of the gang, but no promises. I don't have a name for this guy yet, but I will gladly take any suggestions!

I'm not quite sure how this idea came about, but it's interesting to say the least. It might be one of those images that flashes in my mind to get my ass out of bed in the morning. Or, maybe I've watched way too much American Gladiators.
