I haven't been able to post as much as I would have liked over the last few months, but moving and projects have just piled up! So, hopefully I'm back in the swing of actually sharing my daily and weekly doodles. I drew this one in an anatomy class of a student drawing the model and colored it at home last night... sometimes the people drawing a model are more interesting than the pose on the stand. Never be afraid to ignore the obvious. (Who am I? Yoda?)

I did this sketch of my new wife one night at starbucks (which I think tastes like b-u-t-t) right before we got our cat. I didn't intend to do much with it, but you know what happens when you open up Photoshop. So, one hour later, I have a cute caricature of the woman who I love, and who also drives me crazy. I tell her she's driving me 'trazy'. Enjoy!

Are You Ready For Some Football?

So, it's getting closer and closer to football season, and I had some time to scratch my football itch by doing this illustration of my Dad's favorite football player, Jim Brown. I remember my Dad having an illustrated Jim Brown cup on his desk at home that he put his pens in when I was a kid. It was one of those items that I'll never forget and that will always remind me of my Dad.

I had an assignment in my photoshop class to make a wine label and here is what I came up with. I have no idea why, but the colors look a little dull in this thumbnail, but if you click on it there is a little more punch to them. Go figure...

I've been doodling a lot alphabet pictures lately and I decided to do one about one of my teachers. He's a great guy who has been taking shit from me for the last year. I've talked to him about nightmare-situations and I think we mentioned working at a theme park and wearing a bear costume. Needless to say, Peter's face in this picture says it all... it also says, "I'm going to slit your throat".

Here is one of my favorite sketches I've done this year. Every time I see this sketch I think of my Dad, who told my fiance and I a story about Tarzan, except every time he said "Tarzan" it sounded like "Tarzin". Ha! It makes me smile.

I went to Las Vegas this weekend with some of my closest friends and took in a lot of the amazing sights it had to offer. One of the best sights we talked about all weekend was the various "peeing styles" men choose in the restroom. It's simply amazing how different we all are when it comes to urination. I decided to illustrate a few of the styles we talked about.
